Tarragon has a delicate yet distinctive flavour, slightly sweet with hints of anise. It is often used in French cuisine, especially in sauces, chicken, fish, and egg dishes. Tarragon adds elegance and a refined herbal note to food.
Tip: High heat can slightly diminish its aroma, so it’s best added at the end.
