Sweet Basil is known for its fresh, slightly sweet aroma with gentle peppery notes. It is widely used in Italian and Western cuisine, especially in salads, pasta, pizza, and tomato-based sauces. Sweet Basil brings a bright, refreshing flavour that enhances both raw and cooked dishes.

Tip: Best added at the end of cooking, as prolonged high heat can cause it to darken and become bitter.
